The Sacrament of Confirmation will be held at OLDP Church on Tuesday May 14, 2019

The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the 11th grade school year of a young person’s faith formation. After the age of 18, a young adult must go through Adult Faith Formation, or RCIA (special circumstances may be granted by the pastor).

Confirmands and (at least one parent) must attend the Orientation Meeting held in Providence Hall on Thursday August 23, 2018 at 7 p.m.

Our Catholic Faith is a communal faith, not an individualistic endeavor. Support of the parish family, and the confirmand's personal family is a crucial aspect of good faith formation. With this in mind, beginning in the 2017 - 2018 Confirmation year, all participants in the OLDP Confirmation class along with their family (1 or both parents, and Sponsor) will engage in the Confirmation Day of Reflection.

The Day of Reflection is held every year at the Rosaryville Spirit Life Center in Pontchatoula, Louisiana. This year the Day of Reflection is tentatively scheduled for Saturday March 16, 2019. Details will be provided at the Family Confirmation Meeting.
