THE NEW "ST. THERESE ACADEMY FOR EXCEPTIONAL LEARNERS"

OLDP School and Holy Rosary School will be merging to form a new School here at Divine Providence.  The new School will be called "St. Therese Academy for Exceptional Learners" and will open this fall (2019).

The Church Parish will not change our name.

St. Therese Academy will be an elementary and secondary school.

Nearly half of our current enrollment, at OLDP School, will be eligible to continue here, as part of St. Therese Academy, as will all of the students from Holy Rosary School.

This is an exciting transition that keeps Catholic Education alive at Our Lady of Divine Providence Parish and enables us to expand the mission of ensuring that all children, of all ability levels, are given an opportunity to be educated in the Catholic Faith.

The Archdiocese will be assisting parents, whose children will not be continuing with us at St. Therese Academy, with priority admission at another Catholic School.

While change is always difficult it often proves necessary for growth.
